Put Reelpot on your phone
It takes about two minutes. After that it opens from its own icon, like any other app.
1. Install
- Open the link you were sent in Chrome.
- Type your invite code and tap Open.
- Tap the three dots at the top right of Chrome, then "Add to Home screen" (on some phones "Install app"), then Install.
- From now on, open Reelpot from its icon on your home screen.
2. Connect Cookidoo (once)
- In Reelpot, tap "Connect Cookidoo" at the top.
- Read the notes on that screen. The connection is unofficial, and you decide whether you are comfortable with it.
- Type your Cookidoo email and password, choose your Cookidoo site, tick the box and tap Connect.
- You can skip this step and still cook every recipe from the app's own cooking screen.
3. Send a recipe video to your Thermomix
- In Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, tap Share on the video and choose Reelpot. If you do not see it, tap "More".
- Reelpot opens and reads the video. This takes about half a minute.
- Tap "Convert to Thermomix". Check the ingredients and the steps; you can change anything.
- Tap "Send to Cookidoo". The recipe appears under Created recipes in Cookidoo, on your Thermomix and in the Cookidoo app.
- A recipe from a website works the same way: tap Share in Chrome and choose the app.
Good to know
- The steps are written by an AI model and can be wrong. Read the recipe before you cook, especially times and temperatures.
- You can also add photos or screenshots of a recipe, or paste the text.
- "Cook from this screen" shows the steps one at a time on your phone and needs no Cookidoo.
- During the test: 10 recipes a week, videos up to 3 minutes.
- If the recipe does not show on the Thermomix, check that the machine is on Wi-Fi and give it a minute to sync.
